Access Projects Completed:

Pioneer Road: Successfully sued Flathead County to reopen an illegally abandoned county road providing access to the Flathead River and USFS land.

Lake 5: Worked with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks to overcome lakeshore owner lawsuits to successfully acquire and develop a Fishing Access Site on Lake Five near West Glacier.

Wagner Lane: Threatened Flathead County with legal action over proposed abandonment of a road providing access to Church Slough. Negotiations resulted in a county fishing access site, day-use area and boat ramp being built.

McGregor Lake: Successfully sued Flathead County to force the county to take action to remove a house illegally built on a county road that blocked access to Fish, Wildlife and Parks land on McGregor Lake.

Flathead Wildlife, Inc., is a fish and wildlife sportsman group made up of men, women and youth from the Flathead area. We have been involved in conservation of wildlife and wildlife habitat for over 60 years. We are affiliated with the Montana Wildlife Federation and work to bring our voice to the state level. The Federation is a state organization made up of local sportsmen’s and sportswomen’s groups from across Montana.
