Annual BBQ

May 10, 2023

Annual Meeting and Barbecue The Flathead Wildlife Annual meeting will be held at Lone Pine State Park on Wednesday, May 10 at Lone Pine State Park.

We will tentatively schedule Bear Spray training from 5-6 PM using the rolling bear dummy and inert spray.

The Barbecue will start at 6 PM, followed by awards and election of officers. The main program will be a showing of “In the Heart Of the Rockies” by video producer Todd Tanner of Bigfork and president of Conservation Hawks. The video features some stunning footage from the Rocky Mountain Front to the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River and discusses how climate change may change the way we hunt and fish. The video features some folks you’ll recognize and a “secret” location in the Flathead.

The meeting will conclude with the drawing for the Flathead Wildlife 2023 Raffle. Plan to attend, the barbecue is free and the public is welcome.
