Flathead Wildlife, Inc. will host Chuck Bartlebaugh of BeBearAware.org at its meeting on Wednesday, October 9 at 7 PM in the Kalispell Fish, Wildlife and Parks Public Meeting Room. Bartlebaugh will talk about bear behavior and identification, how to live and recreate in Bear Country, and how to avoid bear conflicts. The talk will include proper selection and use of bear spray. Those attending the full program will get a Certificate of Training on Bear Avoidance and Use of Bear Spray.
Chuck’s talks are entertaining and educational. In light of 4 grizzly bear attacks on hunters already this fall, this information could save you from harm. The program is suitable for all ages, the public is invited.
